Our Take on the Andora 2-Person Infrared Sauna

By

Short answer: the Andora is a 2-person far infrared cabin with 6 carbon panels and Canadian Hemlock walls, priced at $2,210.99 when we checked. It is the lowest-priced infrared cabin on this site. The price moves a lot between retailers, so compare before you click buy.

Why does the price vary so much?

Dynamic saunas are sold through many retailers, and each runs its own promotions. Our figure came from The Home Depot. Our button goes to Amazon, where the price may be higher or lower on the day. Check two or three sellers and compare the delivered price, including shipping to your door or into your room. Why Sauna Prices Vary by Retailer explains how to compare fairly.

Is 140°F hot enough?

The maximum is 140°F, which is at the low end for infrared cabins. Infrared panels heat your body directly, so you sweat at a lower air temperature than in a traditional sauna. If you like a hotter cabin, look at models rated to 150°F or more. If you are new to saunas, 140°F is a comfortable ceiling.

What does it need electrically?

It runs on a standard 120V/15A outlet. Our data doesn’t state the wattage. Find it on the listing and divide by 120 to get the amps. If the result is above 12A, put the sauna on a circuit of its own.

Will it fit?

The exterior is 47” wide, 42” deep, and 75” tall, about 14 sq ft. The glass door and side windows let light in, which makes a small cabin feel less closed. They also mean you are visible, so think about which room it goes in.

What the Amazon listing adds

Our button goes to an Amazon listing for model AMZ-DYN-6202-03, titled “with Red Light Therapy”. Checked on October 18, 2026, it gives figures that differ from our Home Depot data:

  • Up to 135°F, with 115 to 130°F as the comfort range (Home Depot: 140°F)
  • Interior of 43” x 37” x 68”
  • A 5-year limited warranty, for indoor use only

Confirm the model number on the listing you buy from. Neither listing gives the wattage.

You get, you give up

You get a soft-touch control panel, an aux input with speakers, and carbon panels the listing calls low-EMF, without a published reading. You give up top temperature, and the two listings don’t agree on it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are infrared saunas cheaper to run than traditional saunas?

Yes — infrared panels heat the body directly rather than the whole cabin's air, which generally means lower electricity use and shorter warm-up times.

Do infrared saunas need a special electrical circuit?

Compact single-person cabins often run on a standard outlet, while larger multi-person cabins may require a dedicated circuit — check the manufacturer's spec sheet.

What does full-spectrum infrared mean?

It means the cabin combines near, mid, and far-infrared emitters in one unit rather than relying on a single wavelength.
