Short answer: the Signature I is a 1-person eucalyptus cabin with 8 far infrared heaters and a 7-year warranty for $4,999. It needs a dedicated 120V/20A circuit, not an ordinary 15A outlet. Check that before you choose a room.
Why a 20A circuit for 1,350W?
Run the numbers: 1,350W at 120V is 11.25A, which would fit a 15A circuit. Sunlighten still specifies a dedicated 20A circuit with a NEMA 5-20 connection. Follow the manufacturer’s requirement, because a warranty claim can depend on correct installation.
A NEMA 5-20 plug has one horizontal blade and fits only a 20A receptacle. If the room has standard 15A outlets, you need an electrician to add the circuit. Price that in.
At full power it uses 1.35 kWh per hour, about $0.25 at the 2026 US average of 18.34 cents per kWh.
Will it fit?
The exterior is 37.8” x 39.8” x 77.7”, about 10.4 sq ft. That is the smallest footprint of any cabin on this site. The interior is 32.2” x 33.6” x 70.3”, a seat for one.
It weighs 428 lbs, which is heavy for its size. That is more than the 2-person Durasage cabin we list at 268 lbs. Plan the route to the room, especially if stairs are involved.
What does the warranty cover?
Sunlighten lists a 7-year warranty. Our data doesn’t break it down by component, so ask whether heaters, controls, and wood are all covered for the full 7 years.
You get, you give up
You get SoloCarbon heaters that Sunlighten describes as low-EMF, colored lighting, and Bluetooth sound. You give up a second seat and plug-in simplicity.
How it compares
The Clearlight Premier IS-1 costs $800 more, runs on a standard 15A outlet, and has a lifetime residential warranty. The Signature II is the 2-person version with no published price. The price here is Sunlighten’s own, and our button goes to Sunlighten’s product page. Bottom line: a solid single-seat cabin if the 20A circuit is easy for you.
