Short answer: the Harmony is a 2-4 person Eastern White Cedar barrel with a 3-year parts warranty for $5,977. The heater is sold separately, and the dealer listing we researched doesn’t publish the exterior dimensions. Get those two answers before you order.
What does the heater add?
Dundalk recommends an 8kW electric heater or a wood-burning stove. An 8kW heater draws about 33.3A at 240V, which means a dedicated 40A circuit and an electrician. A wood stove needs no power but does need a chimney and safe clearances.
Our data has no heater prices. Ask the dealer for a bundled quote, and compare that total against barrels that include a heater.
Why do the missing dimensions matter?
You need the length and diameter to build the base, and you need the shipping dimensions to know whether the crates fit through your gate. The listing leaves them out. Ask for the spec sheet, and don’t rely on the photos.
What does a 3-year parts-only warranty mean?
It covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use for 3 years. It excludes wear, weather, and misuse, and it does not pay for labor. On an outdoor wood product, “weather” is a broad exclusion. Ask the dealer how seasonal cracking and stave gaps are treated.
What about lead time?
Most Dundalk saunas are made to order in 6-8 weeks. This listing was in faster stock when we researched it. Confirm the current lead time, since it changes.
You get, you give up
You get stave-and-band construction with marine-grade aluminum bands, stainless bolts, a flat cedar floor, and solid benches. You give up an included heater and published dimensions.
How it compares
The Dundalk Serenity adds a front porch for $181 more. The Almost Heaven Salem is a 2-person barrel at $4,176 with a 6kW heater included. Bottom line: the Harmony makes sense when you want Eastern White Cedar and a wood stove. See Best Wood for an Outdoor Sauna.
