Short answer: the St. Moritz is a 2-person cedar barrel with a Harvia 8kW wall heater included, for $4,999 at Select Saunas. The listing asks for a 240V/30A circuit, which looks small for an 8kW heater, so have your electrician size it. The warranty is 5 years, limited.
Size
Assembled, it is 75” x 60” x 80” and weighs 409 lbs, per the listing. That is about 31 sq ft of footprint, our arithmetic. Interior dimensions aren’t published.
The circuit question
Here’s what the spec sheet won’t tell you. An 8kW heater at 240V draws about 33A (8,000 ÷ 240), our arithmetic. The listing says “240V / 30AMP (Stove).” Those two numbers don’t fit together, so ask the dealer to confirm, and let a certified electrician size the breaker and cable. The listing itself says to “consult a certified electrician.”
Lights and music run on a separate 120V/15A supply.
What’s in the box
The Harvia SWS80 “The Wall” heater with built-in controls, a backrest with accent lighting, a sandglass, a thermometer, and a bucket and scoop. Stainless hinge and handle, tempered glass door, and round windows.
Warranty
Golden Designs gives a 5-year limited warranty. The Almost Heaven Salem, also 2-person, carries a limited lifetime warranty on the room for $4,176.
You get, you give up
You get a large heater and a full accessory kit at $4,999. You give up interior dimensions on the listing, a longer warranty, and certainty about the circuit until your electrician checks it.
Bottom line: good value if you want everything in one box, as long as the electrical side is settled first. Indoor Hardwired Sauna Electrical Planning covers what to ask.
