Short answer: the Model X7 is a 4-6 person indoor cabin with a full glass front and 1.5” Nordic Spruce walls for $6,740. The heater isn’t included and isn’t named on the listing. It was showing sold out when we researched it, so check stock first.
What size heater does it need?
The interior is 62” x 79” x 77.5”. Multiply and divide by 1,728 and you get about 220 cubic feet. Harvia rates its 6kW heater for 170 to 300 cubic feet, so 6kW is the natural match on paper. The full glass front loses more heat than a wood wall, which can push the choice up a size. Ask the dealer which heater SaunaLife specifies for the X7.
A 6kW heater draws 25A at 240V and needs a dedicated circuit, usually 30A. An 8kW heater needs 40A.
Will it fit indoors?
The exterior is 68” deep, 88.1” wide, and 79” tall, including the eaves. That is about 42 sq ft, the size of a small bathroom. At 79” tall it fits under a standard 8 ft ceiling. The door swing is reversible, which helps in a tight room.
Our data doesn’t state the weight. For an upper floor, get the figure and ask a builder.
Here’s what the spec sheet won’t tell you
A 4-6 person traditional sauna indoors needs planned ventilation, a floor that tolerates water, and clearance around the glass. Planning a Large Indoor Sauna goes through each. The warranty term for this model isn’t in our data.
The price comes from My Sauna World. Our button opens an Amazon search, so use it to confirm the model name and then check dealer availability.
You get, you give up
You get dual-level Aspen benches, Wi-Fi LED lighting, and assembly the maker puts at 1 day for two people. You give up privacy to the 5/16” glass front, and you buy the heater separately.
How it compares
The Almost Heaven Bridgeport seats 6 indoors for $5,337 with an 8kW heater included. That is $1,403 less before the X7’s heater. Bottom line: the X7 is a design choice. Compare both in our home sauna comparison.
