Short answer: the Georgian is a 2-6 person Eastern White Cedar cabin with two-tier benches and two front windows for $7,647. The heater is sold separately. With a heater, wiring, and freight handling added, this is a five-figure project for many buyers.
What does the full project cost?
Our data has the cabin price only. On top of $7,647 you need:
- A heater (Dundalk recommends 8kW electric, or a wood-burning stove)
- A dedicated 240V circuit, or a chimney for wood
- A level base
- Help unloading the freight delivery
An 8kW heater draws about 33.3A at 240V and needs a 40A circuit. Get the heater price from the dealer and the wiring price from an electrician, then add them. Run the numbers before you fall for the photos.
What does freight delivery involve?
The cabin ships by LTL freight, and the listing says you need help offloading. Ask the dealer whether liftgate service is included and how the pallets are sized. Have two or three people ready on delivery day.
It is made to order in Ontario, with an 8-12 week lead time. Order in late winter if you want it for summer.
What the listing leaves out
Our data has no exterior dimensions, interior dimensions, or weight for the Georgian. You can’t plan a base without them. Ask the dealer for the spec sheet before you pay a deposit.
What does the warranty cover?
It is a 3-year parts-only warranty for defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. Parts-only means labor is your cost.
You get, you give up
You get a two-tier bench with an L-return that installs on the left or right, bronze tempered-glass windows, and a steel roof. You give up an included heater and a long warranty.
How it compares
The Almost Heaven Grandview holds a similar group for $6,358 with a heater included and a limited lifetime warranty. Bottom line: the Georgian is for buyers who want a cabin shape and windows, not a barrel. Home Sauna Installation Cost covers the extras.
