Short answer: the Sutton is a 2-person indoor traditional cabin with a 6kW Harvia heater and a corner layout for $4,667. It is built to tuck into the corner of a room. Check the door width and your electrical panel before anything else.
Will it fit, and will you fit?
The back wall is about 57” wide and the cabin is about 80” tall, so it clears an 8 ft ceiling. The bench is 53.5” wide and 23.6” deep. That is a comfortable seat for two, but too short to lie flat.
The door opening is 22.4” wide. That is narrower than a typical interior door, so think about who will use it. Our data has only the back-wall width, not the full floor footprint. Ask the dealer for the complete dimensions and mark them on the floor with tape.
What does the 6kW heater need?
At 240V, 6kW draws 25A, on a dedicated 30A hardwired circuit installed by an electrician. The cabin lighting runs on 110V/15A. The heater has a delayed-start option, so you can set it to be hot when you get home.
At full power the heater uses 6 kWh per hour, about $1.10 at 18.34 cents per kWh as an upper limit.
Is 6kW a lot for 2 people?
It is on the generous side for a cabin this small, which points to a quick warm-up. Our data doesn’t include the interior depth, so I can’t give you the room volume. If you want to check the sizing yourself, Sauna Heater Sizing shows the method.
What does the warranty cover?
The cabin structure has a limited lifetime warranty. The Harvia heater has 1 year on the heating elements and 5 years on other components.
You get, you give up
You get tongue-and-groove walls with a 1⅜” finished thickness, stainless hardware, and a tinted tempered-glass door. You give up a second bench level and the third seat.
How it compares
The Almost Heaven Madison costs $119 more and adds a third seat and two bench heights. Bottom line: choose the Sutton only if the corner layout is what makes a sauna fit your room. See Small Space Sauna.
